The Yoakum Ministerial Alliance and FBC are working on a deeper connection to the Gabriel Project to help support moms, dads and babies. Stay tuned for updates, but if you are pregnant and need help, don't wait. Call them today. Here is some info on how Gabriel project works.About the Gabriel Project:Lavaca (& Dewitt) Counties are under the umbrella of the Gabriel Project of the Crossroads out of Victoria which supports a 10 county region. Each county has their own coordinator and team of Angels and Michaels which support expectant mothers and those in crisis pregnancy situations. What is an Angel and a Michael? An Angel responds to the needs of our mothers who are undergoing the challenges of an uncertain time during pregnancy. They may be considering abortion. They may have just found out they are pregnant and are scared and uncertain what their options are. They may not have the right resources to care for their baby.We have teams of Angels in different departments that help the needs of these mothers at any stage of pregnancy and postpartum.A Michael responds to requests - Whether it be yardwork, painting, handyman services, delivering/assembling furniture, or accompanying our female Angels on visits. Within this ministry, men have an opportunity to minister to our Gabriel Project Families too and help our Angels and Moms in many ways.In addition to Angels & Michaels, there are many ways to be involved in helping with the Gabriel Project and making it a success including our donors and prayer warriors. At the Gabriel Project our main goal is to support the mothers in keeping their babies and ultimately, choosing life. We aid the mothers through their pregnancy, support their needs through donations of items, offer spiritual direction, and offer educational resources through our Learn & Earn program. ...
